Sacramento Cactus & Succulent Society Show & Sale happening *NOW*
The 65th annual Show & Sale of the Sacramento Cactus & Succulent Society is happening this weekend at the Shepard Garden and Arts Center in McKinley Park . If you're in Sacramento – or anywhere in Northern California – be sure to head on over: Saturday, May 3 , from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, May 4 , from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission and parking are free. There'll be a judged show with some of the best cacti and succulents you'll see in our neck of the woods; judging is Saturday morning, and the show will open to the public by noon. But the biggest draw is the huge selection of plants for sale – great pottery, too. For a complete list of vendors, scroll down to the bottom of this post. I was there this morning (Friday) to help set up and took a bunch of photos. Maybe they'll tempt you to jump in the car and stop by!
