Borinda fungosa in particular looks beautiful and is one I haven't previously heard of. Such an elegant plant, the likes of it must be worth a go here.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615100786320943903.post-51750459961683930262012-10-25T11:09:16.030-07:002012-10-25T11:09:16.030-07:00Rain, I'm jealous. Your garden looks great, and is a good reminder of how big Bamboo can become.Hoover Boohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03083294821646284424noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615100786320943903.post-91288644323914901802012-10-23T17:49:11.582-07:002012-10-23T17:49:11.582-07:00As it is, I handwater 100+ potted plants. The GFI connected to the irrigation controller tripped earlier in the year and I didn't notice it for a few weeks; I almost lost my 'Rufa' because of that.Gerhard Bock (Succulents and More)https://www.blogger.com/profile/17583583634141549759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615100786320943903.post-89640152788610512092012-10-23T17:46:19.941-07:002012-10-23T17:46:19.941-07:00Everything and everybody relished the rain. I was wondering about the brown leaves on the nigra... that's why I hate relying on irrigation systems. I suppose they do save lots of work though...

Can't wait to see these in a couple more years!Alanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13393082652312828458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615100786320943903.post-20208530996854477592012-10-23T12:20:31.776-07:002012-10-23T12:20:31.776-07:00You've got a fine collection of bamboos Gerhar...You've got a fine collection of bamboos Gerhard, love 'em all especially the Bambusas which we can't grow here.
