Congratulations on finally succeeding with Cousin Itt! The steel planter lends a lovely dark contrast to all the textured greenery surrounding it.luv2gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09883799040439283011noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615100786320943903.post-63618433681054266122019-09-17T11:04:41.439-07:002019-09-17T11:04:41.439-07:00I feel weird even calling it "rain" when...I feel weird even calling it "rain" when it was just a lively sprinkle. But enough to get some of the dust off.

I have two ×Mangave 'Purple People Eater' as well. The one in the photo above is in full sun most of the day; it's a lot more reddish-orange (as well as smaller) than the second one, which receives more shade (it's more purple like in the published photos from Walters Gardens).Gerhard Bock (Succulents and More)https://www.blogger.com/profile/17583583634141549759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615100786320943903.post-7904747054553130032019-09-17T11:02:28.275-07:002019-09-17T11:02:28.275-07:00This is the time of year when I usually need to re...This is the time of year when I usually need to replace the windshield wipers on the cars that are parked outside. I added 2 'Purple People Eaters' to my own smaller collection several months ago but mine don't have the wonderful orange color yours does. Maybe waiting until November for rain here will stress them sufficiently to color them up.Kris Petersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07097260283693156795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615100786320943903.post-89197990689065037382019-09-17T09:54:51.696-07:002019-09-17T09:54:51.696-07:00It was great to have to turn on my windshield wipe...It was great to have to turn on my windshield wipers on the way to work Monday morning ! And I used my umbrella too -a symbolic gesture since it's only about 10 steps from my parking spot to the door of the office. Your bottle tree is shaping up nicely !kshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10847026541797857854noreply@blogger.com
