Looks much better and think of all the backbreaking work that has been eliminated! Too bad they couldn't have taken a good portion of that Bradford Pear. At least I can install the drip irrigation lines this weekend.Gerhard Bock (Succulents and More)https://www.blogger.com/profile/17583583634141549759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615100786320943903.post-37652009164761543662014-03-06T14:10:04.816-08:002014-03-06T14:10:04.816-08:00The difference is startling, in a good way! They've done a superb job, now a blank canvas ready to be planted up with a myriad plants that you just bought recently which I must is a lot more exciting than a row of pittosporum!Mark and Gazhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09427245730390252976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615100786320943903.post-89225546358520334922014-03-06T11:36:59.372-08:002014-03-06T11:36:59.372-08:00Your comment on the origin of the bandage roll mad...Your comment on the origin of the bandage roll made me laugh--especially since it was typically my wife who tackled the hedge :-).

The piles left in the street are the old leaves they raked out from under the bushes. For some reason, the biomass plant where they take the chippings doesn't accept (old) leaves. In a couple of months you'll never even remember that those shrubs were there.

Is it typical for them to just leave the chippings in the street?
