I reckon it can be done if sited in dappled shade and in permanently boggy conditions so it has constant water supply to the big leaves.Mark and Gazhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09427245730390252976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615100786320943903.post-47876697777771675722011-07-18T19:38:11.614-07:002011-07-18T19:38:11.614-07:00Alan, I hear you! That's why I enjoy reading gardening blogs--at least I get to experience some of these plants vicariously.Gerhard Bock (Succulents and More)https://www.blogger.com/profile/17583583634141549759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615100786320943903.post-29738774886075001232011-07-18T05:28:11.285-07:002011-07-18T05:28:11.285-07:00I wish I had known that gunnera don't like the...I wish I had known that gunnera don't like the heat. I was excited about growing this plant this year, but it has died (or is just about dead) and is now added to the very long list of plants that I can't grow here. Shoot.

I would love to see a large specimen in person though. Nice post!Alanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13393082652312828458noreply@blogger.com
