But Victoria is much more up her alley--small enough to not get lost, but large enough to offer everything you could ever want. San Diego is too big and too fast-paced.

As for Wyoming, I do have a weak spot for it. The vast emptiness, the wide open skies; there's something epic about the landscape. I imagine it has changed quite a bit. I didn't see any hippies but there are lots of surfers, young and old and in between. The vibe is very laid back.Gerhard Bock (Succulents and More)https://www.blogger.com/profile/17583583634141549759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615100786320943903.post-56553899766626124172016-09-06T12:42:17.615-07:002016-09-06T12:42:17.615-07:00Oooh, what a trip! It's like another world up there.

BTW, you're lucky to have your daughter choose such a scenic locale for school. Ours was Laramie Wyoming, which was fun the first time or two because it was so different but then became sort of meh.Alanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13393082652312828458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615100786320943903.post-65504713574927684842016-09-06T06:01:30.001-07:002016-09-06T06:01:30.001-07:00Stunning photos! It must be the water that keeps it so temperate. We are zone 9a here in my half of Houston but it isn't the same because we have high humidity and very warm over night temperatures. www.ravenscourtgardens. comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17352192526462955088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615100786320943903.post-12115672065263111662016-09-05T19:58:33.641-07:002016-09-05T19:58:33.641-07:00Gorgeous photos. It was my first encounter with gunnera, maybe the same one you photographed. I remember that every other car was a VW van. I had one for 22 years. Sounds a lot more tourist-y now, not so hippie, end of the road-ish.Jane Stronghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05016381279699618539noreply@blogger.com
