I know, it's like a weed in Southern California, but it's exotic where I live (and my other one looks like **** because of our rainy winter).Gerhard Bock (Succulents and More)https://www.blogger.com/profile/17583583634141549759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615100786320943903.post-5013424973803510532017-03-09T22:05:15.084-08:002017-03-09T22:05:15.084-08:00Gerhard, it was great to see you, and as always I&...Gerhard, it was great to see you, and as always I'm in awe that you can drive for eight or nine hours and still have the energy for even more hours of serious plant stalking! Can't wait to see more of your Jurupa photos - that place cries out for a good photographer to do its quirky beauty justice. I'll be using this and your related posts to plan some desert shopping and sightseeing runs this spring...

Two days after you left, I had to haul all the plastic and frost cloth and giant nursery pots out again - it poured rain, and the overnight temp dropped to 31F. There was ice everywhere next morning. Today it was 80F! (Thanks for the photo of the good pups!)
