It's simply a matter of time. The tuber has to be a certain size before it produces a flower. From what I recall reading, the plant has to be about 10 years old.Gerhard Bock (Succulents and More)https://www.blogger.com/profile/17583583634141549759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615100786320943903.post-65119538783843888172012-06-24T15:51:23.152-07:002012-06-24T15:51:23.152-07:00I have the Amorphophallud konjac in my front yard....I have the Amorphophallud konjac in my front yard. It never bloomed. Is it going to happen someday? do I need to do something special? I was able to plant a stinky flower in a pot once. Now I`m looking to get it from anywhere because it was beautifull and didn`t stink almost at all and it was not so big. I got it from the bahamas. It needs perfect growing conditions, including high humidity. I'm almost sure it wouldn't grow outside here; too dry in the summer and too cold in the winter. Apparently the corms are highly vulnerable to nematodes. There's got to be a reason why there are so few of them around :-).Gerhard Bock (Succulents and More)https://www.blogger.com/profile/17583583634141549759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615100786320943903.post-61716294843703144462011-06-26T16:00:01.653-07:002011-06-26T16:00:01.653-07:00You could probably take some of those seeds and gr...You could probably take some of those seeds and grow your own. I thought about getting them, but they would probably struggle through the winters here.Steve Lauhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05398643598426170132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615100786320943903.post-21933597415729288932011-06-25T17:42:15.282-07:002011-06-25T17:42:15.282-07:00Dick: Rank has its priviledge!Dick: Rank has its priviledge!Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06602311372657715308noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615100786320943903.post-62484243181894630532011-06-25T17:17:27.752-07:002011-06-25T17:17:27.752-07:00Was Reba's VooDoo Lily a relative of this?
