Alan, I'll have a cactus update soon, including the seedlings you sent me. Some of them are turning into little porkers!
This particular cactus, Astrophytum myriostigma, came from the nursery at the Living Desert in Palm Desert, CA. Check out this post for another photo. It's bulked up quite a bit since February.
I'd like to see more of that plant. I Googled it and there are some really interesting cultivars. (Have you already posted about this?)
